Well at this point it would probably be more effective for us to be going around on ice skates instead of in boots, it was warm for about 2 days and the snow was starting to melt, then it got way cold and has been that way for a few days and its straight ice everywhere, we walk around like penguins trying to not slip. Its also been really windy which seems to drop the temp a few degrees. We had an earthquake the other night at about 11pm, it wasnt too bad, probably a medium one and lasted about 15 or 20 seconds, the apartment was swaying a bit and a few things in the bathroom and kitchen got knocked over but that was about it. It wasnt too bad just laying in my futon during it, it was actually quite soothing.
I was quite a reader before the mission, and that hasnt stopped out here, but the reading selection is a bit different. I finished the Old Testament the other day, all 1180 or so pages. Started a few transfers ago, it was quite interesting. Onto the New Testament! Well there hasnt been too much else lately. Last week we went over to the city gym (right behind our apartment) to try and shoot some hoops but it was closed, we will try again today and if not, we will head towards the beach and explore. Have a great week!
