So this transfer is over this week, it keeps going faster and faster. Not going to lie, I dont think I would mind TOO much if I was here for a while, this town is growing on me, who could beat a great view of the ocean off of some cliffs one way, then turn around and see lines of mountains? Beats Arizona any day. I dont care how pretty sun sets are, come watch the sun go down into a horizon of nothing but Pacific ocean. What makes climbing the stairs of a 10 story apartment totally worth it? The amazing view from the top. Anyways, last week was good, had a Zone Conference in Sapporo, the area doctor came out, he is a good ol boy from Wyoming and his answer to everything was "put an ice pack on it and toughen up!". We then went to see the world famous snow festival, I by world I mean teams from countries all over the world come and make carvings. There are snow buildings as big as regular buildings and all kinds of stuff. Unfortunately it was dumping the whole time and everything was covered witha few inches, so it was hard to notice the details and all. There were bands and singers, and a snowboard jump contest going on. Today we have a district activity, the missionaries from the next closest area (1 hr by train) are here, and we will be going to some of the most famous hot springs on the island to enjoy some steaming hot mineral water outside, butt naked. Youve gotta love Japan!
