Out with the snow and in with the rain! It has been coming down lately, I guess April showers lead to May Cherry Blossoms! Weve learned that when the weather lady says its a 10% chance of rain, she really means its definately raining, it will just be about 10% as rough and wet as a typhoon. The same goes with 50% and so on. But we do enjoy the sun we get now and then. The other day we gut up at 430 am, bundled up and biked down to the coast to climb a hill and watch the sun come up. It was too overcast for us to see anything, but it was fun exploring the hills and cliffs.
Last P Day we were down on the other end of town, climbed this mtn right on the coast and had a great view, then went and had dinner at the cafe in the middle of nowhere on the cliffs that Elder Knighton and I discovered about 2 months ago. We were the only customers there, and when we walked in the little old lady (who has been running the place for 50 years!) got the stove cranked up and put some jazzy records on. I dont think she has changed the decor in 50 years, it was quite hipster, made me think of that hotel in The Shinning. The menu has only 3 options, and it was pretty cheap so I was concerned on portion size, but it ended up being really tasty and filling, for only about $4. I`ll take that any day! Weve had some really good lessons and random experiences testifying to people, we cant make everyone listen but we are definately making sure they get a chance to hear this great message! Super random but the other day we were walking down the street and passing the local badminton store (yep, its that popular here), and did a double take when I saw a shirt with thse Power ranger looking pigs playing badminton! It is the most random shirt Ive ever seen and Im totally getting one today! Have a great week!
