Well, I thought we were done with winter there for a bit. It started warming up, the snow was melting, we even had a day or two in just light jackets. Until Saturday night, when a storm blew in, ravaged all day Sunday and is just starting to die down. Thats another P Day spent in the apartment. Well, springs gotta come eventually...

Not much happened this week... The other night we were out in a neighborhood, when we turn a corner and whats parked right there? A travelling ramen truck! So of course we had to check it out. Inside is an old couple cranking out. We started up a conversation, they were pretty surprised to have two young white customers in this random neighborhood. They said they deliver orders to customers houses and sell right out of the truck. Theyve been going for 26 years! We chatted it up, and each ordered a bowl. It ended up with the two of us, sitting on someones fence on a chilly March night, slurping up some of the best ramen Ive had. Yep, I am definately in Japan. The other day we were out on the coast, stopped at a spot to climb up to get a view, and ended up standing along these 60 ft cliffs with a great view of the coast going both ways. Not bad Muroran.
