Well today is still Monday, our usual day, but I started emailing at 6 am today. We have to leave on the train for a district activity and will be staying the night, so we had to get everything done extra early. Good week this last week, had our District Leader (who is Elder Ishiga, a Japanese kid and was my 2nd companion forever ago in Kitami, he is still my favorite so far) and his companion came out to go on splits, it was dangerously fun. We went up to Sapporo for a big conference, Elder Yamashita, an apostle and member of the Quorum of the 70, and his wife came and did a workshop, it was very good and uplifting. We then booked it back home, stood for 1.5 hours in a very crowded train, dropped our stuff of at the apartment and went right over to teach our english class. I am still feeling behind from all that.
Saturday we had a ward Talent Show, Elder Knighton and I both played a song on the guitar, I went with "I am a Child of God" and it didnt go too bad. Our investigators are all doing good and we found 3 new ones this week, so we are excited to see where they akll will go. The transfer is done on April 4th, and Elder Knighton will probably get the boot, so we are wondering who will take his place. There will be alot of missionaries coming in soon and there is talk of making this area a 4 man, so that could get interesting. Anyways thats about it, we have to go get ready to go, and I have to try to not sleep on the train, theres never enough time to study!Have a great week!

Well, I thought we were done with winter there for a bit. It started warming up, the snow was melting, we even had a day or two in just light jackets. Until Saturday night, when a storm blew in, ravaged all day Sunday and is just starting to die down. Thats another P Day spent in the apartment. Well, springs gotta come eventually...
Not much happened this week... The other night we were out in a neighborhood, when we turn a corner and whats parked right there? A travelling ramen truck! So of course we had to check it out. Inside is an old couple cranking out. We started up a conversation, they were pretty surprised to have two young white customers in this random neighborhood. They said they deliver orders to customers houses and sell right out of the truck. Theyve been going for 26 years! We chatted it up, and each ordered a bowl. It ended up with the two of us, sitting on someones fence on a chilly March night, slurping up some of the best ramen Ive had. Yep, I am definately in Japan. The other day we were out on the coast, stopped at a spot to climb up to get a view, and ended up standing along these 60 ft cliffs with a great view of the coast going both ways. Not bad Muroran. Thats been about it, have a great week!

Well, this week...We are still waiting for winter to end. It will be warm and slushy for a few days then cold and frozen for the next few. Yesterdays weather was perfect, we were hoping to still have it today so that we can go do something other than get cabin fever in the apartment. We woke up to rain. I give up. Shoot Im about ready to go jump in some puddles. Anyways, the Zone Leaders came down for splits, meaning I spent the day working with a different missionary, he is going home soon and passed on some good insights and knowledge. Thats been it. We are hoping for good weather and fun stuff this next week. You do the same.

The weather here cant make up its mind. It will be sunny and warm for a few days, all the snow will get deep all slushy, then it gets cold, the slush freezes into chunks and it snows, adding more dust to the crust. Now I understand why the weather report is the same every day when I listen to it: "mostly possibly partly cloudy, with a chance of snow". Well you dont say?
Anyways, not much this week. We went to another area for a conference, had 8 missionaries in one apartment (kid stuff. Most Ive seen is 14), and one of them had the flu, so we stuck him in his own room, which gave us even less room. I slept at the feet of three guys, which means I had 3 pairs of feet nudging me all night. Went to a place famous for burgers for lunch, Elder Knighton and I were hoping to take on a burger thats really 3 burgers in one, but they werent selling it that day for some reason. Shame.
That apartmenty had a guitar lying around, that was missing a few strings but otherwise in good condition, they said I good take it. Schwag! I brought it back with me and am currently restoring it, should be fun dragging around at transfers. Thats about it, have a great week!
