Hey everyone!
Well, today is the start of my 3rd transfer. I will be lucky enough to
remain in Kitami for the next 6 weeks with a new Japanese companion!
His name is Keishi Ishiga, he is a way legit guy who was baptized
about 2.5 years ago, and he speaks no english! The language barrier
has proven challenging, there is alot of Charades and all, but we both
are having tons of fun and Im learning way too much Japanese at once!
So things are looking great, especially since we will be having a
baptism! Our main investigator, a 25 yr old guy named Yamashita, had
his interview yesterday and passed just fine. We will have his service
in 2 weeks, 8/5, and it looks like I will be baptizing him! So that
should be awesome and Im way nervous but excited too. We continue to
be blessed with miracles every day. Elder Peterson and I said our
goodbyes, he was definately bummed. The celebratory pizza was
delicious (half seafood miz and half BBQ pork) but way overpriced (at
$37.50), but was a fun experience. I hope everone is well. Know that
