Well, we got our transfer report last week and I am: In the same area, with the sam companion. Psh. The cool guy in our apt that I got along with got transfered out and replaced with a bit of a fruit, this kid who has too big of a smile and uses the term "super duper!" a bit too much. Its certainly interesting in our appartment. Last week in our english class we had a surprise birthday party for me (my birthday is tomorrow but they didnt know if I would be transferring or not) with lots of tasty food! Then the next night, the last night of last transfer, we went out for sushi! I tried a bowl of soup full of shrimp heads, you pick them up and suck out the brains! Shrimp brains taste interesting to say the least but it wasnt half bad! I got a scarf from an eikaiwa student and a homemade calendar from his mom, and a recent convert gave me a new backpack full of tasty food! Well my real birthday is tomorrow so I might just go out for more sushi! You can never have too much raw fish and rice!

SNOW!!
Well, the rain has finally turned into snow! Yesterday it started coming down, and it picked up last night. This morning we woke up to a few inches, but it is pretty warm today and is getting slushy, we will see what the next few days will bring. But even better that snow was the 2 baptisms we had yesterday! My companion and I had a 70 yr old guy, and the other companionship in our area had a 20 yr old guy get dunked. Double baptisms, those dont happen too often! We were all definately pumped for that. This is the end of my 5th transfer, we are all anticipating the transfer calls this week, I think I am staying for another here in Moiwa but you can never be sure. We are excited for thanksgiving, not sure if we will load up on sushi or make some big plates of curry, either way it will be delicious and much different than whatever you will all be eating! Anyways, we are just prepping for a real winter and waiting for transfer calls. Have a great week everyone!

So its supposed to snow soon, which would be nice since it has rained about 17 days out of the last 20, Ive given up on staying dry. Its come to trying to hit every puddle just to see how big of a splash I can make. Sometimes a car will go by and hit a big puddle and I get to surf and bike at the same time! I got earmuffs and a scarf from the dollar store so I should be all set for winter! We are expected to have a baptism this Saturday, a 70 yr old guy named Nakazawa San, which is funny because I was going to drop him a few weeks ago! Its incredible how much people can change when they are given the chance. The 3 other guys in my apartment are sick, Im just hoping I dont catch anything, lots of Vitamin C should fix that... hopefully... Other than that things are going slick, time keeps on flying! Have a great week!

Happy Halloween! I know that was a few days ago but we just celebrated this last Saturday! We had a party at the church, I went as a boxing champion complete with a headband, fingerless gloves and a gold medal all from the dollar store everyone definately liked it! It has been raining this whole week Im pretty sure there was a typhoon or something it was raining sideways! I would prefer snow over this at least you dont get as soaked. I tried to get approval from the Mission President to go to the onsen (hot springs where you hang out naked) and he said I went too recently, as in like 2 months ago. He went "if it was a church activity or something that might bedifferent..." Well my mind went cranking from there, and at church I asked the Young Mens Presidet if we could do an activity with the Young Men, he asks "what do you want to do?" and I suggest the Onsen: We are good to Go! Thats about it thanks so much!
